*ALLIGATORS MAY ONLY BE HARVESTED BY INDIVIDUALS AWARDED A TAG THROUGH THE ISPORTSMAN ZONE 8A LOTTERY.  The Zone 8A alligator tags count towards your statewide bag limit of 1. Hunters may use hand-held ropes or snares, snatch hooks, harpoons, gigs or arrows with a restraining line attached. Alligators must have an overall length of 4 feet or greater to be legally harvested. Alligators must be dispatched immediately upon capture by using a handgun or bangstick, or by severing the spinal cord with a sharp implement.

**ARCHERY ONLY & SHOTGUN/MUZZLELOADER/ARCHERY ONLY AREAS-either sex dates are for the ENTIRE DEER SEASON. During archery and primitive weapons seasons, hunters may take antlerless deer in firearms areas with the appropriate weapon.   Either sex dates for FIREARMS AREAS during firearms season are listed in table above.

***Hunters may take a season total of 5 deer.  No more than 3 may be antlerless deer and no more than 2 may be antlered bucks, one of which must have four points on one side at least 1 inch in length.  Exception:  Both bucks must meet the 4 points on 1 side antler restriction in the Quality Deer Management Area (ENTIRE E AND F AREAS). The GA DNR 15 inch minimum outside spread rule DOES NOT APPLY ON FS/HAAF.

****The Jan. 10 - Jan. 31 extended archery deer season is valid for Hunter Army Airfield only. Archery equipment is the only authorized weapons allowed to harvest deer in areas H-1, H-5, H-9, H-10, H-11 during the posted dates.
